SESSION AT GENEVA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The Session is the governing body of a congregation and is composed of the pastor or pastors and active elders. Purpose: Elders/Trustees are elected by the congregation and serve as the ruling body of the congregation with the pastor as moderator. The Session of our church consists of 12 ruling elders, one third of whom are elected each year for a three - year term. They are responsible for the mission and government of our church, such as policymaking matters, budgetary items, program development, and the spirtitual welfare of the congregation. Meetings: Third Monday of each month, 7:15 PM |
